Three potential landing spots for Jazz Chisholm Jr

Outfielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. is far more recognizable than the typical Miami Marlins player. Chisholm was the cover athlete for MLB The Show 23, thrusting him into the spotlight. His exciting all-around game attracted notice although his 2023 season was cut short by injury.  Injuries have been an ongoing concern for Chisholm as he has missed time due to a shoulder injury, a strained back, an oblique strain and turf toe.Best porn XXX. Meanwhile, the Marlins are embarking on yet another rebuilding project. As exciting of a player as Chisholm may be, he is not a part of their future plans. Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reported a “growing belief” that Chisholm will be traded by the July 30 trade deadline.  Jon Morosi from MLB Network confirmed the report, adding that several teams have already contacted the Marlins.  It may be a matter of time before the Marlins trade Chisholm. Let’s take a look at three possible landing spots. Royals general manager J.J. Picollo has been clear about his targets at the trade deadline. He stated that the Royals are focusing on upgrading their bullpen and adding a player who can play in both the infield and outfield. Chisholm would fit Picollo’s wish list. He had seen time at second base and shortstop before the Marlins moved him to center. Chisholm would also provide the Royals with another dynamic option in the lineup, pairing with Bobby Witt Jr. as a power and speed threat. He is also under team control for two more years making him the type of player the Royals could build around. The Mariners thought they had found their answer at second base by acquiring Jorge Polanco from the Twins as part of a five-player trade. Instead, Polanco is in the midst of the worst season of his career, forcing the Mariners to look elsewhere. According to Morosi, the Mariners are looking for infield help, with Cubs second baseman Nico Hoerner listed as a possibility. Chisholm would fit the Mariners’ ideal as well, an athletic player who can be a dynamic part of the lineup for multiple years. The Mariners may need to make a move soon as the Astros are rapidly catching up in the standings. The New York Yankees have several holes in the lineup. Alex Verdugo began his Yankees’ tenure white hot but has drastically cooled off since the beginning of June. DJ LeMahieu no longer looks like a major league caliber player.  The Yankees’ offensive load is being carried by Juan Soto and Aaron Judge as they have struggled to find complimentary pieces. Chisholm could solve part of that problem. His presence would allow Judge to return to right field, reducing wear on his body. The Yankees could also look at Chisholm as part of a longer term solution.  Gleyber Torres is a free agent after this season and Chisholm could return to the keystone. He would also be a dynamic fit atop the lineup, setting the table for Soto and Judge while allowing Ben Rice to slide into a run-producing role.
